This when the software displays an error message and closes unexpectedly.
Hung Application
This is when the software no longer responds to mouse or keyboard input but the operating system still responds normally.
Hung System
This is when neither the operating system nor the applications respond to keyboard or mouse input.
System crash
This is when the whole operating system shuts down unexpectedly. Sometime with a blue screen message.
Unexpected Result
The software produced an effect your did not expect but in all other respects behaves as normal.
